From the designer

With our planet in mind, I also designed the NORD ECO collection - a new, ecological version of the NORD collection. It is a sustainable, conscious design that is a response to the problems of our time. It is an environmentally friendly collection that has a positive impact on human health.When designing in a sustainable way, I am thinking primarily of a closed loop. The furniture has been designed in such a way and with the use of such materials that it can be reused. For this reason, I used pine wood for the bases and legs, which is easily accessible, inexpensive and can be easily renovated. To increase the durability of the material, the wood has been impregnated with ecological beeswax. At the end of its service life, the wood can be recycled. Furniture seats are upholstered with a fabric obtained from recycled PET bottles. It is worth mentioning that 1 meter of this fabric is made from 37 recycled bottles. In addition, the yarn created in this way is combined with the modern "Easy Clean" technology, which means that you can use water instead of chemicals to clean stains. The seats and backrests are filled with materials of natural origin such as: seagrass, coconut mat and buckwheat husk. Furniture seats have removable covers that can be replaced when worn. The furniture is easy to assemble and disassemble. Each element can be renewed to extend the service life. - Katarzyna Jasyk
